Welcome to the Uganda 2017 blog! Throughout our time in Uganda we will be uploading photos of our adventure and the students will be writing daily reports on their experiences, their work and their emotions. The group will be visiting the slums of Kampala, working with the students and staff of Bright Future Primary School to develop thier English Languag, drama and creative writing along with demonstrating their sporting prowess! (we never beat them at any sport so I'm not holding out much hope!) Over the next few weeks the students will be finalising this fundraising, having their final injections and packing for 10 days on a different continent. On the 21st June Stoke Park School will be holding a non-uniform day to raise funds for Brigth Future School - we hope to be able to raise money to help fund a new minibus so that students who live further away from the school can be picked up and the students can engage in inter-school competitions.
